Christmas "Eve Girl"

Following on from the previous post, here is another AngieGirl from Unity Stamp: Eve Girl

Be sure to wear flowers in your hair

I'm only one of the many, many, many fans of artist Angie Blom's AngieGirls. Her lovely ladies are very open images, which are perfect for coloring. I've become quite a fan of Unity Stamps, and you can see all of the AngieGirls stamps by clicking here here.

Here are some of cards I made featuring AngieGirls stamps. The swirly heart frame came from the Silhouette Design Store; it was cut out on the Cameo. I added some gold foil to the frame. Both watercolors and alcohol markers were used.

If coloring soothes your soul, I highly recommend trying out some of these AngieGirls stamps, and you can make some cards at the same time!

Sweater Tags, So Cute!

It's the middle of the summer, and now I'm starting to panic that I won't have time to make enough products to sell at our Christmas Bazaar in early November! This is a perennial worry of crafters who do most of their sales at end-of-the-year markets.

Last year, at our Christmas Bazaar at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Loveland, Colorado, we found that tags and gift cards were the hottest merchandise in our booth. Not as many folks mail or give regular-size Christmas cards, it seems. However, a pretty tag for a present, gift bag or bottle of wine is always in demand.

The Elizabeth Craft Design Winter Sweater gift tag (above) and this Silhouette santa tag especially were popular at last year's craft market.  All of the profits for our sales went to charity.
