Simply Thank You

There's nothing better than brand new product to inspire my creativity! I just received some new Prima flowers, and I put them to immediate use on two Artist Trading Cards.

The one at top, featuring miniature butter-colored rose buds, was made for the England Stampers & Crafters April Lottery. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

The following ATC features the new Artistry Prima flowers and was made for the Persnickety Stampers April Lottery.

The designer paper came from my friend Germaine. She used it to wrap up a gift for me, and I recycled it on this layout! I think the colors match perfectly!

Vintage Children Card

After a solid week of spring cleaning our home, I finally finished and decided it was time for ME today! Yippee!

I made a similar card for two different monthly card lotteries.

The theme is "children" for the England Stampers' card lottery . . . I soon realized that I don't own any rubber stamps featuring children! Once upon a time, I had plenty of stickers for scrapbooking when my teen-age son was younger. But I never seemed to acquire much in the way of rubber stamps featuring children. The only ones I have are a few Magenta stamps, and that is what I used to make this vintage card, featuring to precious wee girls!

For the Persnickety Stamping Group, I took the same basic card but altered it to say "Thinking of You," which is the theme of the card lottery for April. I recently received some brand new Prima butter-colored roses, and I just had to use them!
