A Rose for Sue

My friend Sue loves flowers and floral stamps, so I wanted to use flowers when making her birthday card. In trolling through my stamp collection, I came across an Inkadinkado clear stamp set, which I hadn't used previously:

97622 Doodle Flowers
Sue loves tulip stamps, and you can see this has a very open and modern tulip. However, the rose stamp really captured my imagination, especially since I thought it went particularly well with BoBunny's Organic Honeysuckle card stock.

The open and doodle design of the rose and the flourish of the BoBunny paper seemed to work beautifully together. I used Copic Ciao markers to colour the rose image.

I've learned over the years that when making a card, make several. It doesn't take much additional time to make four instead of one card, and you never know when you'll need a thank you or birthday card.

Sue's birthday is on 4 April. Happy Birthday!!
